How to Backup Drivers Before Formatting?


At a point of time, every user may want to format their computer system for some reason or the other. Once formatting has been completed and windows has been installed, re-installing drivers could be quite hectic, especially if you have an old system whose drivers cannot be found on the internet, hence a driver backup would be essential to make things easy while re-installing applications after the PC has been formatted. Once downloaded, run setup file, install the application and follow the steps as mentioned below:

A. On the main interface, hover your mouse over the “Driver Backup and Restore” Tab”

B. Select the “Backup Drivers” Link and click “Next”.

C. On the next screen, select the checkbox next to a driver for backup or click the “Select all” checkbox to backup all driver and click “Next”.

D. On the resulting screen, browse for an appropriate location to install the application and click “Next” and click “Next”. A backup file will now be created.

E. To later restore drivers, click the “Restore Drivers from Backup” link and select the backup file created.

F. Finally, Click “Next” to start the restoration process.
